Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College, Chandigarh, is organizing two-day national seminar on “Reimagining GST and Tax Architecture for Viksit Bharat 2027.” The seminar is sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).
The objectives of the national seminar are to evaluate the performance of GST since its implementation, to explore reforms required in India’s tax architecture, to examine the role of digital technologies in tax governance.
Original, unpublished abstracts and full papers are invited for presentation at the conference. Submission should align with the broad themes of the conference; however, contributions addressing allied and interdisciplinary areas relevant to GST reforms and economic policy are also invited.
Broader subthemes of the national seminar are GST Design, Implementation and Reform Trajectories, Sustainable Taxation for Viksit Bharat, Digital Transformation in Tax Administration, GST 2.0 and India’s Global Competitiveness and Revenue Productivity and Economic Growth.

The submitted papers will be peer-reviewed by an expert committee, and accepted papers will be published in an edited book with an ISBN. Rs 1000 will be charged for it from the authors.
