The Airports Authority of India (AAI), a Miniratna – Category-I Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, has invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the recruitment of 389 Manager and Junior Executive posts in various disciplines.
AAI Vacancies Details
Of the total vacancies, 170 posts are for Manager (E-3 Level) and 219 posts are for Junior Executive (E-1 Level). The pay scale for Manager posts is ₹60,000–₹1,80,000, while Junior Executive posts carry a pay scale of ₹40,000–₹1,40,000.
For Manager, vacancies include Air Traffic Management (20), Operations (21), Electrical (22), Electronics (6), Information Technology (14), Official Language (2), Finance (21), Law (10), Fire Services (14), Human Resources (10), Architecture (5) and Civil Engineering (25).
For Junior Executive, vacancies are available in Air Traffic Management (98), Operations (28), Electrical (15), Electronics (13), Information Technology (19), Finance (15), Official Language (5), Human Resources (5), Law (3), Architecture (5) and Civil Engineering (8).
Age and Qualifications for AAI Vacancies
The maximum age limit is 32 years for Manager posts and 27 years for Junior Executive posts, with the age being calculated as on September 7, 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable to eligible candidates as per Government of India rules.
The educational qualification varies according to the discipline and post. Depending on the post, candidates are required to have qualifications such as an Engineering Degree, MBA, CA, CMA, Law Degree, Graduation or other relevant qualifications prescribed for the respective position.
AAI Vacancies and Selection Process
The selection process will consist of a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Application Verification and/or Interview, as applicable to the post. For the Manager (Fire Services) post, candidates will additionally have to qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Driving Test.
How To Apply For AAI Vacancies
The online registration process will start on August 8, 2026, and the last date for submission of online applications is September 7, 2026. Applications will be accepted only through the online mode via the AAI recruitment portal at http://www.aai.aero.
The selected candidates will be posted at various AAI locations and airports across India. Candidates are advised to carefully read the complete official notification before submitting their applications, particularly the post-wise educational qualifications, eligibility conditions and application fee requirements.
