Dehri, Kangra (H.P.): The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Wazir Ram Singh Government College, Dehri, Himachal Pradesh, will organize Shodh Aarambh 2026, a National Multidisciplinary Virtual Conference for Postgraduate Students and Mentor Teachers, on May 6, 2026.
Envisioned as a “commencement” into academic research, the conference aims to help PG students transition from theoretical learning to active scholarly contribution. The student-centric event requires that primary presentations be delivered by students, while mentor teachers are acknowledged and certified for their guidance.
Key Objectives:
1. Provide a national platform for PG students to showcase original research
2. Encourage mentor-mentee collaboration in higher education
3. Foster evidence-based thinking and formal research reporting
Call for Abstracts: PG students across disciplines — Languages & Literature, Humanities & Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, and Pure & Applied Sciences — are invited to submit abstracts of maximum 300 words including title, author names (student & mentor), affiliation, and 5 keywords.
