The Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of NCT of Delhi, has issued a notification for the recruitment of the Director, Directorate of Family Welfare. This high-level administrative position is being filled on a deputation basis (including short-term contract) from eligible officers of Central/State Governments, Union Territories, or recognized research institutions.
The Directorate of Family Welfare plays a critical role in implementing reproductive and child health services, immunization programs, and population stabilization initiatives across the national capital.
Position Details & Eligibility:
- Post Name: Director (Family Welfare)
- Pay Scale: Level-14 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 1,44,200 – Rs. 2,18,200) plus applicable allowances.
- Essential Qualifications: Candidates must hold a recognized medical qualification (MBBS) included in the First or Second Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. A Post-Graduate degree in a specialized field or Public Health is also required.
- Experience: A minimum of 14 years of experience in the profession, with at least 7 years dedicated to the administration and management of family welfare programs.
