The Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) has announced the 16th edition of its Annual Faculty Development Programme (FDP). This five-week residential initiative is designed to boost the teaching and research capabilities of management educators and researchers.
Programme Overview
The 2026 FDP is scheduled to run from April 7 to May 9, 2026, at the IIM Indore campus. The curriculum is divided into two primary modules:
Module 1: Developing Teaching Skills: Focuses on participant-centered learning, case-based teaching, writing cases, and developing engaging lectures.
Module 2: Developing Research Skills: Covers the research and publication landscape, methodology, qualitative and quantitative tools, and navigating the manuscript review process.
Eligibility and Target Audience
The programme is open to full-time faculty members, working executives with at least five years of experience, and current PhD or Post-Doc students. It is particularly beneficial for those teaching management or allied subjects such as commerce, HR, marketing, finance, and strategy.
Fee Structure
The standard programme fee is ₹88,500 (including GST). However, IIM Indore offers several concessions:
SC/ST/OBC/PWD Categories: ₹70,800 (including GST), available on a first-come, first-served basis.
PhD/Post-Doc Students: ₹61,950 (including GST).
The fee covers tuition, course materials, library access, meals, and twin-sharing residential facilities on campus. Participants are responsible for their own travel and medical expenses.
