The Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), has released a new recruitment notice (Advt. No. CUSB/Advt./47/2025) for several teaching positions. CUSB is an NAAC A++ accredited institution. The university is inviting online applications from eligible Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) for regular appointments.
Teaching Vacancy in CUSB
The recruitment drive aims to fill positions for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor across various schools and departments:
- School of Agriculture and Development: Positions in Agricultural Extension Education, Plant Pathology, and Entomology.
- School of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science: Vacancy in the Department of Statistics.
- School of Social Sciences and Policy: Vacancy in the Department of Historical Studies and Archaeology.
- School of Human Sciences: Vacancy in the Department of Psychological Sciences.
- School of Education: Multiple vacancies in the Department of Physical Education and the Department of Teacher Education, including liberal disciplines such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, English, and Hindi.
Pay Structure (as per 7th CPC)
- Professor: Academic Pay Level 14 (₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200).
- Associate Professor: Academic Pay Level 13A (₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100).
- Assistant Professor: Academic Pay Level 10 (₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400).
Application Fees and Process
- Fee: ₹2,000 for candidates in the UR, OBC, and EWS categories.
- Exemptions: SC, ST, PwBD, and female candidates are exempt from paying the application fee.
- How to Apply: Applications must be submitted online through the ‘CU Chayan Portal’ or the university website http://www.cusb.ac.in. No offline applications will be accepted.
